The veillée

The veillée is a party which takes place before the Christmas holidays. The pupils make funny shows, sing or dance. The party takes place in the CID of Deauville. After the evening, the pupils often go to discotheque.

Bus stop

The pupils of the high school take their bus here to arrive at the school or to return at home! But other people take their bus in front of the college. (It depends on the place where live the pupils).

The class history and geography

Just before every holidays, we make a snack. Every pupil brings to eat and to drink. We listen music and videos and take photos :-D

The harbour

The harbour is just next to the school, we often have gulls which come :-)

The playground secondary school

Many students go to the court during the breaks but the court is also a stopping-off place to go to the CDI and to the other classrooms.

The break

The break is a place where meets students to relax, to do homework, or to speak with their friends. There is television, chairs and tables. The students have to clean the break regularly otherwise the head master close the break during some weeks.

The gymnast secondary school

The pupils are going play badminton, handball and basketball in this room. Otherwise, there is one court of tennis and a stadium to Deauville for the other sports.

Playground schoolboy

It is the place where take their bus others pupils, they can go out or return at the high school by this place.

A secondary school near the sea

We are lucky to have a magnificent view on the sea. Many pupils take advantage of it the summer during the hours when they are not current.

André Maurois

André Maurois, his true name is Émile Salomon Wilhelm Herzog. He was born in Elbeuf the July, 26th 1885 and he died in Neuilly-sur-seine the October, 9th 1967. He was a french writer and he wrote for example " Terre promise " in 1946. André Maurois gave his name at many schools in France.
